NYC: Food!

Freeman's at the Lower East Side for brunch:

Omg Artichoke dip was soo good...

I had the Flannel Hash: Fried eggs on top of potatoes, beets, and corned beef.

Saturday's Surf at Soho for coffee:

No. 28 at the West Village for Neapolitan pizza:

Bluebird Sky in Little Italy, brunch for one.

Hudson Clearwater in the West Village. This was a busy but "secret" restaurant with no signs or numbers on the street.

I had the steak:

Then a cheese plate for dessert.

Walter's for brunch at Williamsburg. Fried chicken and pumpkin waffles served with maple syrup and hot sauce.

Pates et Traditions in Williamsburg for French crepes.

NYC: The Met

View from the roof:

NYC: Central Park IV

NYC: The Cloisters

The Cloisters, a branch of the Met in northern Manhattan, is a rebuilt monastery using parts from different abbeys from medieval Europe. It holds half of the Met's collection of medieval art, the most famous being the Unicorn Tapestries. I thought it was so cool. This was my favourite museum out of all the ones I've been to in the past week (including The Met, Guggenheim, MoMA, and Museum of Natural History). While I didn't particularly appreciate the medieval works of art that were housed at the Met, I was fascinated with the ones that were in the Cloisters. I think it was because of the medieval setting.

My Met pin matched my nails!

NYC: Central Park III

My third day in a row at Central Park. I love it here!

NYC: Upper East Side with my Cousin

I met up with my cousin who I haven't seen in ten years, and she just had her fourth baby last month. I got to hold the baby, but of course, she started crying right after she was passed into my arms. Babies don't seem to like me very much! But perhaps it was my pastrami breath. We had gone for giant pastrami sandwiches and a matzo ball soup for lunch.
