Bacon Overload

Rae had left some anchovies in the fridge from my dinner party, and I wanted to use them up. I flipped through my new Jamie Oliver cookbook and found this: Asparagus bundled with rosemary and anchovies, wrapped with bacon.

Then we thought it would be a good idea to find another recipe that would use up the bacon, so we found this one: Salmon with bacon, raddichio, basil, and pine nuts.

Needless to say, it was a very heavy meal with a ton of bacon. But reasonably easy to make!

Dinner for Six

Roast chicken, panzanella salad, Transylvanian rolls, enoki salad, linguine, manchego cheese, ginger snaps, melamakarona, 2009 Hecula Monastrell.

Roast Chicken

Rub some salt and pepper on the skin, stuff the cavity with a lemon and herbs, pop the chicken into the oven, and voila! This is what came out 80 minutes later.

I Mother Earth @ Commodore

This was the easiest show I've ever shot - great lighting with a photo pit at the Commodore. Barely any editing was needed!

I didn't realize how heavy metal I Mother Earth had become (they were more alternative back in the 90s.) The only other photographer looked like a trucker and was shooting for a website called Metal Titans.
