225: LOVELY BOKEH


Bokeh: The subjective aesthetic quality of out-of-focus areas of a photographic image.

What are these plants called, because I really like taking pictures of them.

  1. they look like wheat to me, but i know i'm wrong. bokeh looks like a yiddish word. i expect Fran Drescher to utter this to her mom.

  2. Does wheat grow in random spots in the city? Bokeh is actually derived from a Japanese word "boke", which means blurry.

  3. Definitely in the grass family (Poaceae). What kind is hard to say....Grasses are notoriously difficult to identify even for experienced botanists
