70: WHAT FLOWER IS THIS?

I like taking pictures of flowers, but I know nothing about them. I took this picture in my backyard in between rain showers. I don't even know what kind of flower this is. Please tell me if you know!

  1. Dandelion?

It looks like this flower appeared in a studio and you gave it a photoshoot (because of the black background)! So pretty! I can see so much detail in/on the petals....

  2. A Daffodil! It looks like a daffodil from the side.

And now I'm reminded of that poem Mrs. Mills asked every single person to recite in front of class...ugh. I think that ruined the poem for me forever.

Very nice picture-you are blossoming as a photographer :)

  3. It's not a dandelion..and I thought maybe daffodil also, but it doesn't look like a daffodil from the front. It's a mystery for me.

  9. Dad: that's a nice picture. what flower is it?
Me: the ones we have in the backyard.
    Dad: What flower is that?
    Mom: Daffodils!

MYSTERY SOLVED! The flowers hadn't fully opened the last time I looked at them, so thats why I didn't think they were daffodils.

I didn't photoshop or take the photo at night. The black part actually used to be a brown fence. I was just playing around with iphoto and I somehow managed to make it black!
