After work today, I braved the rain and the drive to Surrey (ie. Whalley, crime capital) to go to another free outdoor concert. This time it was Tokyo Police Club and Wintersleep. How ironic that I managed to get to the front, right against the barricades, when I only knew one song while everyone around us were big fans. Whalley's not so bad...at least there were so many police cars around the venue that I felt safe! Lots of security in the area.
good for you for being in the front and glad you survived! i'm guessing the mosh wasn't as bad as girl talk?
ReplyDeletehaha it was SOOOO tame. and there was so much security. there were about 8 security guys in front of the stage. the minute someone started crowd surfing they'd all reach over the barricade and yanked the guy out haha.
